| Hey Valve! Where's episode 3 of HL2? You haven't finished that game yet. Do you ever intend to or are you just going to continue putting out money grabbing zombie snuff games?

I have been using a media pc for a number of years now. Recently I bit the bullet and purchased an HD-DVD drive to install in it. Now that was painful. I spent many hours trying to get a movie to play and threw pretty well every piece of software I could find at it.
In the end, I did get reasonable video playback but no audio in the movie, only in the title menus.
The next day I returned the drive to the store and I won't go near any HD technology until vendors can convince it will work properly.
I really like my HTPC and it works very well as a pvr, dvd player, and divx/avi player so I won't give it up but it's depressing that the state of any HD playback software is so bad. Flag this | Edit this post |

| an interesting idea but a good content filter analyzes the site and blocks based on content in addition to URL's.
As an IT admin, our policy is pretty open but our system to block sites would most likely prevent access to the new URL. I'll have to check it out. Flag this | Edit this post |
