| I tried putting the code up but the formatting got all screwed up -- I asked the admins here about making it so that formatted text was allowed, but I don't think that happened.

I am unaware of any feature in Windows prior to Vista that allowed for you to backup your entire system... and then use that backup from your installation disk to restore your system.
They have had "system restore" but that did NOT replace your entire system and only brought certain parts of your system "back in time". Flag this | Edit this post |
