FiringSquad Editors Challenge - Challenge Round Posted 59 months agoCongratulations to the top 10, the chosen, the elite. You have proven that you have the skills necessary to make it as a professional editor for FiringSquad.
The competition in Round 3 is going to eclipse what you experienced in Round 2. So, for the next week you have the opportunity to endear yourself to the public and the judges. You’re going to do this through your matrix home page.
What you do is totally up to you. You can promote your real life or your online persona. You can you can link any multimedia fiile you have uploaded to your public Matrix page. You can write media blogs about your favorite foods, add links to your favorite web sites, and create your own custom galleries using pictures saved from the media galleries on FiringSquad. You can pick your favorite games and hardware from the products database and write mini reviews. You can even customize your avatar.
When it comes time for the judges and the public to vote for you at the end of the next round, you want to have made a good impression and gained as many fans as possible. Only so much of your talent can be reflected in your writing. Use this round to impress people with you good looks, great humor, or bad-ass attitude. It’s time to add some personality to your name.
Remember, we’ll be promoting the good and bad of your matrix pages for the rest of the week.
Important Note: We've modified the dates a bit. The original submission deadline was March 23rd. We've extended this to March 26th. However, we are not going to freeze your changes and you can continue to update and modify your matrix pages throughout the contest and beyond.
